Christmas 2008

A little late, I know...
We started the Christmas festivities on Christmas
Eve at a wonderful party hosted by our extended
family, The Shorts. It was fun to get our fancy
clothes on and spend time with family and friends.

After the party, we went to a midnight
Christmas Eve service at our church. It
was beautiful with all the candles lit. My
niece Ashleigh sang an amazing solo called
"Go Light Your World". Dave and I spent
the rest of our evening assembling toys.
I'm thinking the rule for next year is going
to be to not buy anything that needs assembly.
I quit half way through, and left the rest up to
David. He climbed into bed moments before
Victoria was up to see if Santa had come.

Santa must have thought our girls need more exercise because Victoria
got a trampoline and Allie got a Jumperoo. Allie loves her Jumperoo and
I recommend it to anyone with wee ones. We'll put a video on later of her
jumping!

New Years was spent inside, safe
and warm. We had a pretty big
snowstorm New Years Eve day
and just didn't feel like battling
the snow to go to the fireworks.
We wish you all a very Happy New
Year and pray God's blessings on
all your lives.

Too fun!! Can't believe how much the baby has changed. I found your blog on Cara's blog links . . . I just thought you had been neglecting it all this time because of the move and such, but I had been looking at your old one! LOL!
